Healthy Living Fair – Volunteer Opportunities
Posted by on May 2, 2002
Exciting news is coming your way! A chance to help our community in a way that we all deem important. Saturday, September 21st is our first chance to get out there and show that we care about the health of Philadelphia’s families!
Mindy Katz, Gerda Gallop-Goodman and Pam Levinson have put together an obstacle course and healthy living packets for the children and families attending this Healthy Living Fair at Cobbs Creek Park. The fair runs between 10am and 4pm at the Laura Sims Skate House on 63rd and Walnut. Volunteers are needed to come out, help with the obstacle course or hand out some packets of information, and show support! If you could email Mindy with a preference of a two-hour time slot that you would like to commit to, sheI will set up a schedule so that there are some people at all times. Everyone is welcome to stay all day, we’d love to have you! It should be a lot of fun!
