Healthy Homes: Unlocking the Potential through Innovative Funding
In recognition of National Healthy Homes Month, the Philadelphia Office of Community Empowerment and Opportunity (CEO) is partnering with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to present the June Shared Prosperity Roundtable — Healthy Homes: Unlocking the Potential through Innovative Funding. The Healthy Homes mission is to help all Americans, but especially children and other vulnerable populations in low-income households, reach their full potential by making homes safe and healthy. This extended roundtable will provide an opportunity to learn more about effective policies as well as the resources available to advance healthy homes initiatives. The roundtable will include a featured presentation from the Green and Healthy Homes Initiative, and two panel discussions highlighting funding strategies and new policy directions. Organizations invited to participate in this event include:
- Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services
- Energy Coordinating Agency (ECA)
- Green and Healthy Homes Initiative
- Pennsylvania Department of Human Services
- Pennsylvania Health Law Project
- Philadelphia Association of Community Development Corporations (PACDC)
- U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development
The program will include time for networking visiting resource tables. If your agency offers programming or services related to healthy homes and you would like to host a resource table, please send an email to Tia.Watson@phila.gov before Friday, June 15.
We hope to see you there!
Register through Eventbrite by June 20, 2018.
