Pre-requisite PD for Healthy & Green Mini-Grants
PA Early Childhood Education Healthy & Green Mini-Grants Program, which can award eligible providers up to $5,000 to make environmental health improvements to their facilities. The mini-grants program is funded by the Heinz Endowments’ Children, Youth & Families Program. To make an application, providers must be a regulated child care program (center, group, or family home) and participate in Keystone STARS. Providers must provide documentation that they have attended two professional development sessions: Eco-Healthy Child Care® and either Growing Up WILD or Project Learning Tree.
