Healthy Eating Research Announces 2011 Call for Proposals – Deadline March 10, 2011
The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF) recently announced a call for proposals (CFP) for the Healthy Eating Research program, aimed at providing key decision- and policy-makers with evidence to reverse the childhood obesity epidemic. Approximately $2.35 million will be awarded to projects that target children and adolescents ages 3 to 18 and their families. The Foundation places special emphasis on reaching the children at greatest risk for obesity: Black, Latino, American Indian, Asian/Pacific Islander children, and children who live in lower-income communities. To learn more about this funding opportunity, register for a Web conference, or to apply for a grant, visit the Healthy Eating Research program website.
