Girard College to host King Day of Service events
Girard College will again host the signature site for the 20th Annual Martin Luther King Day of Service on January 19.
Beginning at 8 a.m., organizations will host a Health and Wellness Fair that will provide expert health advice, screenings for diabetes, sickle cell anemia, HIV/AIDS and CPR training. At 9 a.m., the King Day of Service Kids Carnival will offer service opportunities, stories and art projects all relating to the life, legacy and teachings of Dr. Martin Luther King.
