Health Education Intern, Jefferson University

Posted by on April 02, 2012

The Department of Nutrition and Dietetics at Thomas Jefferson University and Hospital has an opening for one intern for the 2012 farmers market and CSA season.

Health Education Intern:  The Health Education intern will be working with the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics and the Community Health Department to organize health education events held weekly at the Jefferson Farmers Market.  The market hours are 11-3:30, and the health education events typically run form 11:30-1:30.  This process will be a continuation of the previous two years of health education events and a framework that is already established.  The intern may work from home in addition to using space and resources in the Department of Community Health to complete scheduling and organizing events, updating the monthly calendar.  The intern will need to be onsite to staff the health education table from 11-4 on Thursdays from mid-May through August/September with potential to stay until mid-October.   All interested candidates should submit their resume via email to anna.quinn@jefferson.edu
