NINR AREA for Health Disparities Research at Minority Serving Institutions (R15) – Deadline: February 25, 2009 – The purpose of the NINR Academic Research Enhancement Award (AREA) for Health Disparities Research at Minority Serving Institutions (R15) is to stimulate health disparities and minority health research at minority-serving schools of nursing and to promote the development of minority nurse scientists as independent investigators. AREA grants are intended to support small-scale health-related research projects proposed by faculty members of eligible, domestic institutions.
