Health Affairs Examines Progress Toward Ending Health Disparities
Articles in the March/April issue of Health Affairs (http://www.healthaffairs.org/) address the role of government and policy in helping to eliminate racial and ethnic disparities in health care. The authors assess progress made in the three years since the Institute of Medicine report on health care disparities, “Unequal Treatment,” and suggest ways to eliminate disparities in health and health care that still exist.
