Harris Wofford Awards
The Harris Wofford Awards were created to honor former Senator Harris Wofford, one of our nation’s greatest public servants. The awards recognize extraordinary achievements in three categories: youth, organization, and media for actively contributing toward making service and service-learning the common expectation and experience of every young person.
Eligibility: Youth (ages 5-25); Organization (nonprofit, corporate, foundation); and Media (organization or individual)
Award: $500 award for the recipient in the youth category and a $500 award for the non-profit organization of his/her choice.
Deadline: October 12, 2005.
