Harold W. McGraw, Jr. Family Foundation, Penn GSE Invite Nominations for McGraw Prize in Education
The Harold W. McGraw, Jr. Family Foundation and the University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Education are accepting nominations for the Harold W. McGraw, Jr. Prize in Education.
Since 1988, the McGraw Prize has celebrated innovation in education by recognizing outstanding individuals who have dedicated themselves to improving education and whose accomplishments are making an impact on the field.
In 2021, three McGraw Prizes — recognizing achievement in pre-K-12 education, higher education, and learning science research — will be awarded at a ceremony presented by Penn GSE in November, with each winner receiving $50,000 and a sculpture.
Nominations for the prize may be submitted on behalf of any person who meets the nomination criteria. Self-nominations are permitted.
Nominees will be screened by independent researchers and Penn GSE faculty, staff, students, and alumni with expertise in education. A distinguished jury of peers will then review a shortlist of finalists and recommend one honoree in each category to win a McGraw Prize.
To learn more and/or nominate an innovator in education, see the McGraw Prize in Education website.
Deadline: April 15, 2021
