Group Facilitator/Educator, Stop Smoking Programs for Men

GROUP FACILITATOR/EDUCATOR

Drexel University is seeking an individual with experience in group work to facilitate Stop Smoking Programs for Men and to provide related community education in tobacco prevention, with a particular focus on the Northwest Philadelphia community.

Drexel?s Stop Smoking Programs for Men and Northwest Tobacco Education Project are funded through the Philadelphia Department of Public Health?s Tobacco Control Initiative. Drexel is also funded to provide Stop Smoking Programs for Women and Pregnant Women.

Qualified candidates will have 3-5 years of proven experience with the following:
? Group facilitation or group therapy skills
? Experience in community outreach and educational presentations
? Ability to work with individuals from diverse, underserved communities
? Knowledge of program planning, implementation and evaluation
? Excellent oral and written communication skills
? Proficient use of PC
? Ability to handle multiple, complex tasks with minimal supervision

Master?s Degree in social work, health education or public health preferred; Bachelor?s required.
