Group Facilitation Workshop

Institute for Family Professionals (IFP) is a research-based, trauma-comprehensive professional development organization. Since 2003, we’ve been bringing on-going, relevant topics to individuals and agencies who work with children and families. Our emphasis is on nurturing the nurturers, increasing knowledge and skills and colleague networking. Courses are Free of Charge and CEUs and PQAS hours are provided upon request!
Target Audience:
- Clinicians
- Direct-Service Workers
- Mid- and Upper-Level
- Administrators
- Those working with Families & Children (grades K-12)
- Early Childhood Educators
If not enough registrations are received, a course will be cancelled a month beforehand. It takes 15 attendees to keep a course open.

Wednesdays, 1:30-4:00, beginning March 25, 2015, has room for 9 participants
Held at 240 New York Drive, Suite 4 , Fort Washington, PA
Understanding Anger – Group 782
Thursdays, 1:30-4:00, starting April 2, 2015,has room for 13 participants
Understanding Anger – Group 484
Wednesdays, 5:30-8:00, starting April 8 2015, has room for 6 participants
Held in Northeast Philadelphia, 6901 Hawthorne Street, Phila., PA
Enhancing Trauma Awareness – Group 2088
Wednesdays, 9:30-Noon, starting April 8, 2015, has room for 13 participants
All courses are held every other week at One Penn Center, Suburban Station, 1617 JFK Boulevard, Suite 1705, Philadelphia,
(unless otherwise noted). They include trainers teaching and modeling the concepts as well as interactive exercises to engage participants in the learning process!
These courses are generously offered through United Way of Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey!
