Greenlining’s 21st Annual Economic Summit
Posted by on March 03, 2014
Please join us April 4, 2014 at the Oakland Marriott in Downtown Oakland for Greenlining’s 21st Annual Economic Summit, “The 21st Century Majority: Empowering A New Nation.”
The U.S. economy is changing as fast as its demographics. As communities of color move closer to being the American majority, how can we ensure that all of our communities have a clear pathway to full participation in American prosperity? What new models are working? Can issues that may not fit the traditional model of economic concerns contribute to those models? What changes are needed to ensure that the new economy works for all?
The conference will feature critical conversations and explore innovation in bridging the divide for communities of color. We anticipate over 1,000 attendees, including leaders from the community, private, and public sectors, including business associations, legislators, and regulatory officials. We will bring together diverse stakeholders who may not otherwise have the opportunity to connect; stakeholders who together can solve some of our nation’s most pressing problems.
