Green Microenterprise Development Peer Network
Posted by on January 17, 2011
The Academy for Green Microenterprise Development, a program of ACE, an SBA Microlender and CDFI, has developed a special peer network of Microenterprise organizations involved in providing green loans and green business development services to low-income and other underserved entrepreneurs. If your organization is involved in these activities, you are invited to participate in this initiative.
Sponsored by the U.S. SBA Program for Investments in Microentrepreneurs Program (PRIME), this is an unprecedented opportunity to share our collective experiences in this exciting arena and form peer relationships to further the field.
There is no cost to participate in the network. Our plan is to hold a series of teleconferences over the course of the next year in which members would discuss and share their initiatives, accomplishments and lessons learned.
We would also provide other resources on the current state of the field, including webinars on key topics.
If you are interested in participating in the Academy for Green Microenterprise Development Peer Network, please respond to this request and we will get back to you with more details.
