SUNDAY, September 24th, White Dog Caf? Foundation?s Fair Food Project Presents: GREEN MEADOW FARM TOUR
10:00AM ? 2:00PM
Glenn & Ian Brendle grow non-certified organic vegetables on 15 acres in Lancaster County, and sell to many of Philadelphia?s finest restaurants. Enjoy the natural beauty of this 3rd generation farm, and as an added bonus, learn how Glenn has converted the heat and hot water of his greenhouses, and his Quaker Frontier house built in 1750 to run entirely on used vegetable oil gathered each week from restaurants customers.
Cost: $25, kids 6 and under are free, kids 7-15 half price
Cost includes lunch, tour, and a donation to the White Dog Cafe Foundation.
