Green Jobs Associate – AmeriCorps VISTA
The Sustainable Business Network of Greater Philadelphia seeks a talented team member to fill the role of AmeriCorps VISTA – Green Jobs Associate. This position will be responsible for supporting our efforts to educate Philadelphians with barriers to employment about careers in companies that improve environmental quality. The Green Jobs Associate will support the outreach and documentation efforts of the Green Economy Task Force, Businesses United for Conversation (a new state-funded Industry Partnership) and the JOIN pilot green job training program.
Benefits:
* Monthly stipend of $950
* Transportation provided
* VISTA will cover all relocation expenses
* Health coverage
* End of service educational award of $5,350 or stipend of $1,500
This is a one year term of service.
