Greater Philadelphia Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service Make It a Day On, Not a Day Off! January 19th, 2009
Since 1996, thousands of volunteers across the region have participated in service projects addressing community concerns such as literacy, homelessness, poverty, sub-standard housing, the digital divide, the environment, and healthcare. Please join us on January 19, 2009, when tens of thousands of volunteers serve throughout Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware in the 14th Annual Greater Philadelphia Martin Luther King Day of Service, the largest King Day event in the nation.
We would like to invite you to participate by creating a service project(s) on the King Day of Service. If you, or your organization, are interested in planning a project, you can find tools to do so on our website. If you just want to volunteer as a group or as an individual, we have lots of opportunities as well. Visit http://www.mlkdayofservice.org to find out more about the Greater Philadelphia King Day of Service.
