Greater Philadelphia Junior Science Humanities Symposium

The City of Philadelphia, in partnership with Temple University’s College of Science and Technology is proud to present the 2015-2016 Greater Philadelphia Junior Science Humanities Symposium. JSHS promotes and publicly recognizes middle and high school students for achievement in original research and experimentation in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).
High school students submit research papers in order to:
• Compete regionally and nationally for over $28,000 in scholarships
• Compete for a fully funded trip to be recognized at the national JSHS in Washington DC Metro Area.
• Prepare for post-secondary academic and career pursuits
• Network with the STEM community
Middle school students submit research posters in order to:
• Be featured at the regional JSHS
• Engage in fun STEM activities
• Explore STEM careers
We are currently accepting pre-applications from students that can be completed here http://www.stemcityphl.org/jshs/pre-application/.
The deadline for application submissions is Friday, December 4th.
