Greater Philadelphia Cares: Social Change Leaders Program
Posted by on October 8, 2004
Greater Philadelphia Cares is launching the second class of our Social Change Leaders program on Martin Luther King Day, January 17th , 2004. This program will train and support compassionate, engaged individuals to take the lead to define, implement, and grow meaningful, outcomes-focused initiatives aimed at solving critical social, educational and environmental problems affecting the region. We would like to encourage you to apply, and to pass this information along to others who might be interested.
Greater Philadelphia Cares is seeking 25 social entrepreneurs, practical idealists, and concerned citizens to enroll in an intense 6-month leadership course which extends quality training, expert faculty, experiential learning opportunities, resources and a network of support to bolster community-based social change efforts. The course will consist of 6 seminars, offered Monday evenings from 6pm-9pm. Additionally, participants are asked to keep all Monday evenings free to work on their group projects.
