Great American Dine Out grants program

Share Our Strength, a national organization working to make sure no child in America grows up hungry, is seeking proposals for its Great American Dine Out grants program.
Share Our Strength will provide grants to organizations seeking to increase access to public and private initiatives that provide food to children and their families, to strengthen community resources that connect children to food and nutrition programs, and to educate families about nutrition and related services, especially in vulnerable and traditionally underserved communities.
Eligible applicants include nonprofit 501(c)(3) organizations, schools, universities, colleges, hospitals and clinics, community-based organizations, and faith-based organizations.

Proposal Applications
Completed applications including all requested supplemental materials is due by January 16, 2009.
