“SAMHSA Grants to Develop and Enhance Youth Violence Prevention Activities”
The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) is announcing the availability of funds for grants to develop and enhance youth violence prevention activities in communities and schools. Approximately $2.8 million in funding will be available to fund 12 to 16 projects. Of these, six to eight awards will be made to address youth violence in vulnerable populations, with a maximum amount of $150,000 per year in total costs, for a period of two years.
Application deadline: June 19, 2002.
