Pathways to Housing PA is seeking a motivated professional to fill the role of Grants and Contracts Manager, who will report to the Director of Finance.

Responsibilities:

•Ensure accurate, timely, efficient, & transparent accounting for all contracts – Federal, State and City contracts.
•Prepare, review, & submit grant draw down & financial reports as required for each grant.
•Conduct monthly budget review in order to effectively manage the financial activities of each grant to assure that all activities fall within funder and agency guidelines.
•Ensure, perform, & coordinate financial compliance monitoring and reporting for grants and contracts.
•Prepare budget proposals, modification and renewal budgets..
•Maintain complete and accurate grant files.
•Reconcile and close grants on a timely basis.
•Develop & continually enhance finance systems, including policies, procedures, practices, & information systems that are best in the industry, efficient, & ensure good controls for all grant accounting, compliance, & reporting.
•Identify and prepare resources needed as needed for Audits.

Requirements:

•Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or MIS Systems Management
•3 – 5 years of related experience
•Working knowledge of intermediate accounting & government grant compliance pronouncements
•Significant grant accounting, reporting, & monitoring experience with grants from US government agencies such as HUD, and other State, City and County funding agencies,.
•Strong communication & writing skills
•Knowledge of accounting software – Sage – MIP is preferable
•Strong Excel experience.
•Experience in policy & procedures development
•Project and people management skills & experience
•Ability to resolve standard issues independently & research and recommend resolution of unusual items.
