Posted by on January 29, 2007

JAE Enterprises, Inc. will be presenting a series of grant writing/funding workshops in collaboration with Philmont Nonprofit Development Center in March. The Thursday classes, which are for both beginner and experienced grant writers, will be held at the JAE Enterprises, Inc. office, located at 110 Pennsylvania Avenue in Oreland.

A three-part workshop series on grant-writing will take place on March 1, 8, and 22, from 9:30 am to 2:30 pm. The first in the series is an introduction covering basic grant-writing strategies. A follow-up workshop provides more in-depth instruction on how to secure funds through grants. The final class, “How to Write a Project Description for Funding,” is a hands-on approach to handling this key part of the process. The fee for an individual course is $195 per person; individuals who sign up by February 5 are offered a discounted series price of $395.

The last workshop in our spring seminars is “Finding Your Funding,” a class teaching strategies to find funding for your organization. This is an all-day seminar covering:

1-How to prepare your organization to seek funding
2-Technology and the modern day non-profit
3-Developing a donor base
4-Basic grassroots fundraising and strategies
5-Fundraising programs requiring little or no cost to get started

This seminar will take place on March 29; the fee for the course is $250.
