JEVS OVERVIEW
As one of the largest non-profit organizations in the Delaware Valley, JEVS Human Services helps people from all walks of life including the under and unemployed as well as the frail elderly and individuals with physical, developmental, and emotional challenges.
POSITION DESCRIPTION
The Grant Writing Consultant works with the Business Development Team and Operations partners to write grant proposals.
The following include tasks the consultant may participate in:
• Effectively participate in meetings and discussions that create new program concepts or service expansions.
• Craft outstanding proposals that win government (Federal, state and local) and private foundation funding.
• Write reports to funders presenting program performance, operations, and use of award funding.
QUALIFICATIONS
At least five years experience in grant research, development and writing.
Bachelor’s degree required; graduate degree preferred.
Excellent writing and oral communication skills.
Experience with multiple software systems, including Microsoft Office and Microsoft Outlook.
Creative thinker, independent worker, and self-starter with the drive to manage multiple projects and to create positive results.
COMPENSATION
JEVS will pay an hourly rate based on experience.
