Job description
Position Summary:
The Grant Writer is responsible for writing grant proposals and reports, maintaining a grants calendar, and researching and prioritizing new foundation and corporate prospects, including national funders. This position also provides support to the Executive Director and other staff to help with annual appeal.
Responsibilities:
- Research prospective foundation and corporate funders
- Maintain grants calendar and meet deadlines for proposal and report submission
- Work with colleagues to develop strong case statements for LSH’s programming
- Write grant proposals and reports
- Compile and submit grant application packages
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and 2-years’ experience in non-profit.
