Grant Reviewers Needed
United Way of Southeastern Pennsylvania is seeking qualified experts to serve as grant review panelists, now through June 2013. Individuals with extensive knowledge and experience in health and human services are needed to review applications for general operating support (Review Period: December 2010 to January 2011), and targeted investment grants (conducted as needed, on an annual basis).
United Way utilizes feedback from expert reviewers to help select grant recipients. United Way’s goal is to strategically invest Community Impact funds in critical community programs and initiatives that will prove to be wise investments of donor dollars. In order to accomplish this, United Way is seeking experts experienced in the following content areas:
— Early Childhood Education
— Youth Development & Education
— Asset Development
— Workforce Development
— Aging Services
— Basic Needs (i.e. food; rent, mortgage, utility assistance; shelter/housing; personal safety: domestic violence, sexual assault, child abuse services)
— Non-Profit Capacity Building
— Civic Engagement (i.e. volunteerism & community mobilization)
