Day-long conference for kinship caregivers scheduled
Grands As Parents, Turning Points for Children, and Pennsylvania State Sen. Anthony H. Williams will sponsor the Helping Hands Intergenerational Resource and Information Conference for Caregivers on Saturday, May 14th from 8:30am to 3pm at the University of the Sciences, 42nd and Woodland Ave. in West Philadelphia.
The conference will feature workshops about legal, financial, educational and behavioral health help for kinship caregivers, a panel discussion and a legislative roundtable.
