Graduation Coach Campaign Networking Event
Posted by on September 17, 2012
The Graduation Coach Campaign, an initiative of the Mayor’s Office of Education, works with adults that have an established relationship with a young person to help guide them to and through high school, college and on to careers. On Thursday, September 20th from 5:00 – 7:00 pm, we will host our first Networking Event of the academic year. Adults who work with students in sixth grade and older are invited to come find out about resources for their student (mentoring and academic) during the school year.
If you are already a Coach, you know the important work we do!
If you are an adult who wants to get information, valuable resources and sample conversations you can have with your young person, please join us and sign up for one of our 90 minute workshops. Anyone can be a Coach and every young person deserves a caring adult in their life who can help them navigate their educational path. Please join this grassroots effort and become a Coach.
