Goldman Sachs promotes excellence in education
The Goldman Sachs Foundation’s mission is to promote innovation and excellence in education worldwide. Current priorities are to enhance academic performance and prospects for life achievement of students at the secondary school level, to develop the abilities of promising high potential youth worldwide, and to support high-quality education for young people in business and entrepreneurship.
The foundation will consider supporting effective, high-quality organizations that implement achievement-oriented education programs; produce substantial, measurable results; and have a well-delineated plan for broad dissemination and outreach.
Letters of inquiry of about two pages should be sent describing the program or organization for which a grant is sought, its mission, accomplishments, budget size, and current funding needs. Prospective grantees will be contacted for additional information if necessary. Documentation of results achieved to date is highly desirable.
