Global Impact Forum 2025: High School Student Spotlight – Apply by Sep 30

Penn State is thrilled to invite Pennsylvania high school students to apply for the High School Student Spotlight at the upcoming Global Impact Forum (TGIF) 2025 on November 4th from 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM in Pittsburgh, hosted by Penn State University. This is a fantastic free opportunity for students to showcase their initiatives and engage with a diverse group of influential leaders, innovators and educators dedicated to driving positive change through education and innovation.
Why Encourage Students to Apply? Engage with Visionary Organizations.
Students will have the chance to interact with leaders from:
- Astrobotic
- Carnegie Mellon University
- Pennsylvania State University
- The Gates Foundation
- The Pennsylvania Department of Education
- The University of Pennsylvania
- Sheetz
- University of Pittsburgh
- And many more!
These organizations are at the forefront of educational innovation and social impact, providing invaluable insights and inspiration.
Showcase Their Initiatives:
- The Student Spotlight offers a platform for students to present their projects or ideas to an audience passionate about fostering global change.
- This exposure can open doors to mentorship, collaboration, and further opportunities.
- Network with Change-Makers:
- Beyond the featured speakers, TGIF 2025 will host a diverse group of attendees, including educators, entrepreneurs, and policymakers.
- Students will have the opportunity to build connections that can support their personal and academic growth.
How to Apply: An educator or advisor supervising the high school student team must fill out the form – teams could be from schools or out of school time organizations. Teams will be accepted on a rolling basis.
Final deadline to apply: September 30, 2025
