Posted by American Association of Colleges and Universities on October 1, 2019

October 17–19, 2019
San Antonio, Texas

Join us at this conference to affirm the importance of global learning to prepare students for life, work, and citizenship.

The conference program, available online, features more than 50 concurrent sessions, 40 poster sessions, and 25 roundtable discussions led by colleges and universities representing the broad spectrum in higher education institutions. Topics include practical and theoretical approaches to global learning at the course, department, and institutional level.

Thoughts from Past Conference Participants

“I started my career in international education attending the AAC&U Global Engagement Conference. The conference had a really catalyzing effect in my career. I learned how to talk about global learning through the Global Learning VALUE Rubric, and the materials that AAC&U has developed. I developed a vocabulary and a knowledge of the field through those materials and this conference.”

“[The 2018 AAC&U Global Engagement Network Conference] was an excellent resource for me to clarify ideas, generate new ideas, and learn how to use best practices and ethical frameworks.”
