Kahn to speak on giving in region
The Philadelphia Committee on City Policy will present a talk by Debra Kahn, executive director of the Philanthropy Network, on the philanthropic network in the region and how philanthropy and policy interact.
The talk will feature highlights from a new study, Giving in Greater Philadelphia 2014, and focus on the latest philanthropic trends and how government, nonprofits and philanthropy can better position themselves to work together and accomplish shared goals.
The event will be held on Thursday, November 20th from noon to 1 pm at the Racquet Club of Philadelphia, 215 S. 16th Street in Philadelphia. The cost is $25 for non-members and $15 for members. Cost includes a buffet luncheon.
