Give Camp 2013

Does your non-profit organization need a new website?  Time to escape those Excel spreadsheets and get a real donor database?  Trying to figure out how to build your social media presence? Don’t have a budget to afford technical development?  If so, then you should apply for GiveCamp 2013!

United Way is partnering with Give Camp to offer this exciting opportunity to local non-profits Give Camp is a weekend-long event that brings together technology professionals committed to providing your organization with solutions, strategies, and tools that can help you continue your good work … even more effectively and efficiently than before.  From designers, web developers and database administrators, Give Camp assembles a team of experienced professionals to donate their time to create customized software for non-profit organizations.

In order to qualify for Give Camp the project should be scoped for completion during the weekend of January 18 – 20, 2013. Also, one representative from your non-profit must be available either in person or by phone during the weekend so that any questions about the project can be answered.  The most successful projects result when a member of the organization is present throughout the weekend.  United Way strongly encourages a member of the  to be on site each day to maximize the opportunity.
