Girls Who Code Free Summer Immersion Program

Girls Who Code, a leading national non-profit with the mission to close the gender gap in technology, opens its Summer Immersion Program application in mid-January. Our Summer Immersion Program takes place at leading tech companies, giving girls an opportunity to gain exposure to computer science skills and careers! WHO: 10thand 11thgrade girls who have not taken AP Computer Science are eligible to apply, no computer science experience required. (Girls who have taken AP computer science are ineligible.)
WHAT: the Summer Immersion Program is a free 7-week full time non-residential program during weekdays in the summer, teaching computer science skills and providing girls with access to tech careers. The program offers up to a $1,400 stipend for eligible girls!
WHERE: PwC offfice, Philadelphia
DEADLINES: Application opens January 22nd. Early application deadline is February 15th. Second round application/final deadline is March 15th.
HOW TO APPLY: Girls should apply starting in mid-January at girlswhocode.com/SIPapply There are no GPA requirements or recommendations required. This is an easy online application.
