Girls for Planet Earth
Posted by on April 25, 2003
Girls for Planet Earth is a new, national program developed by the Wildlife Conservation Society with funding from the National Science Foundation’s Gender Equity Program. Young women ages 14-17 are invited to explore the fascinating worlds of ecology and wildlife biology through a week-long Earth Summit at the world-renowned Bronx Zoo and a service-learning project based in their local community.
