Student Summit Details
Gift of Life Donor Program, the region’s nonprofit organ and tissue donor program, is hosting the 6th Annual Gift of Life Students Summits on organ and tissue donation. The day-long student programs teach students the facts about organ and tissue donation and provide the information and skills needed to make an educated decision about organ and tissue donation. The attached flyer has additional information.
Student Summit Dates:
November 9 8:30 am – 2:00 pm RSVP by 11/5
November 16 8:30 am – 2:00 pm RSVP by 11/12
Location: Gift of Life Donor Program, 401 N. 3rd St. Philadelphia 19123
At the Summit students will learn:
• A background on an important healthcare issue–organ and tissue donation
• The stories of speakers who are organ transplant recipients or organ donor families
• Speaking tips for sharing information with others
• Information on careers in the organ and tissue donation field
Please select up to 10 students from your school to attend one of the summits. Gift of Life will provide SEPTA tokens for transportation or reimbursement for personal vehicle travel. There is free parking available at Gift of Life’s facility if you choose to commute by car.
