GenPhilly sets ‘garden gallivant’ in Kensington
GenPhilly will sponsors a Garden Gallivant on Thursday, August 29th at the Lutheran Settlement House Senior Center in Kensington.
A program of Philadelphia Corporation for Aging, the GenPhilly event will take place at 1340 Frankford Avenue in Philadelphia from 10am to noon.
Participants will learn about herb spirals (a new and efficient way to plant herbs), composting and community- supported agriculture. They also will hear from a senior and a member of Teens 4 Good about their experience working together in this special garden.
