The Gender Wage Gap by Occupation
This report from the Institute for Women’s Policy Research compares 2011 median weekly earnings by gender, occupation, and race/ethnicity; the wage gender gaps within races/ethnicities; and the prevalence of occupational segregation in which women tend to work in certain occupations and men in others.
