Gender Disparities in Educational Expectations
With the job market favoring workers with post-secondary degrees, it is becoming harder for those without degrees, let alone high school diplomas, to compete for jobs. To take a closer look at the issue, Duke University’s Center for Child and Family Policy evaluated gender disparities in educational achievement starting in the 9th grade.
