Garden Center Coordinator

Objective: Work with director of land use management program to develop a profitable business strategy for community based garden center

Duties:
* Assess the current condition of Garden Center and assemble a work plan, regarding physical changes to the property and stock issues with Director
* Assist in development of operating budget
* Develop sales strategy and marketing plan
* Maintain property care and upkeep
* Arrange for pick up and/or delivery of stock
* Keep stock healthy and irrigated
* Rotate stock to provide constant color throughout the seasons
* Maintain inventory records and track all sales
* Prepare weekly financial report
* Work with Land Use Management team to create marketing strategy
* Coordinate and schedule workshops, special events and youth program
* Schedule and coordinate garden center volunteers

Requirements:
* Valid driver?s license
* Current retail experience
* Knowledge of Windows Operating System and Microsoft Programs
* Ability to use landscaping equipment
* Experience in using electronic cash register
