Future of Food and Nutrition: A Graduate Research Conference

Posted by on January 20, 2009

On March 28, 2009 the Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy will once again be hosting The Future of Food and Nutrition: A Graduate Research Conference.  We invite you to join us as we explore the interactions between food, the environment, nutrition, human well-being, and society.  For current and future leaders in the fields of food and nutrition, the Conference is a valuable opportunity to network, brainstorm, and explore graduate student research.  This year’s expert panel topic is “New Approaches to Feeding the World,” and we are honored to be joined by Mark Winne, author of “Closing the Food Gap – Resetting the Table in the Land of Plenty.”  We are sure that the day will inspire lively discussion and new ideas.

Attached please find an information flier and a copy of the abstract submission form. The submission deadline is February 2nd.  Electronic submission is possible through the conference website: http://studentconference.nutrition.tufts.edu/index.html.

We hope that you will join us and encourage you to register by February 27th to take advantage of the discounted early bird registration fee.  A registration form can also be found on the website.

Thank you for your support!
