In-depth workshops on popular alternative farm and ranch enterprises will be offered. Seven workshops will be offered. Participants will choose two workshops to attend, one in the morning, and one in the afternoon. Instructors will be farmers, ranchers and educators with first-hand knowledge and experience. Workshops include commercial production of fresh-cut herbs, dare to try new ideas on your farm/ranch, farming online: using the internet to reach customers, increase sales and manage the farm, natural/organic/grass-fed beef production and marketing, organic cut flower production for farmers’ market sales, the tools for organic crop production, and direct marketing through farmers markets.
