Summer fundraising series offered
The Greater Philadelphia Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals is presenting a series on the Essentials of Fundraising this summer.
The series will be divided into five three-hour sessions. Topics include Starting a Development Program (July 14th); Corporate and Foundation Grantseeking (July 21st); Annual Giving (July 28th); Individual and Major Gift Fundraising (August 4th) and Board and Volunteer Development (August 11th).
Participants will develop skills that can be tailored to their particular organization and will meet some of the most successful fundraisers in the region. Helpful tools and materials such as sample fundraising plans, solicitation letters, policies, guidelines and other relevant resources will also be provided.
Registration for each session will begin at 8:30am and the program will run from 9am-12:30pm at Philadelphia University, Room 204, Tuttleman Center – School House Lane & Henry Avenue, Philadelphia. Cost per session is $50 for AFP members and $60 for non-members (register for multiple sessions and receive $10 off each additional session).
