Fund for Children Focus Groups
Posted by on March 14, 2003
The Philadelphia Foundation invites you to participate in a series of community focus groups on March 26th, 27th and 28th. The general purpose of these focus groups is to engage individuals and organizations with key knowledge about the status of Philadelphia children and youth in discussions that will help inform the grantmaking priorities of the Fund for Children. Focus groups will be organized around issues related to children and youth from three age cohorts: 0-5; 6-13; and 14-18. They will be facilitated by professionals from Rainbow Research, Inc., an outside research and technical assistance firm hired by The Philadelphia Foundation to collect and synthesize data from existing documents as well as input from community stakeholders.
Our desire is to have participation from a broad spectrum of individuals and organizations, whether they be involved in provision of direct services, funding, research, technical assistance or advocacy activities related to Philadelphia’s children and youth.
For further details, as well as focus group times, locations, and how to RSVP, please visit http://www.philafound.org/fundfocus.html. If you have questions that aren’t answered, please feel free to contact me at [email protected] or 215-563-6417.
Peace here and there,
Mark Gifford
Director, Fund for Children
