Please join Philadelphia Cares for our next Friday Forum to discuss the question…
HOW SAFE IS OUR FOOD?
March 26, 6:45 – 9:00pm
Wok, 1613 Walnut St.
Cost: $25 (includes dinner)
RSVP required by 3/23/04*
With the first reported case of Mad Cow Disease reaching our shores many are questioning the safety and quality of our food here in America. Many food-borne diseases have been the problem of other countries, but that wall of safety we have is beginning to crumble. Come and discuss how we can ensure the quality of our food sources and if the USDA and the FDA are doing enough to protect us.
Friday Forum is a dinner discussion series that brings thoughtful people together in a casual setting to discuss important local, national, and international issues. No expertise necessary! Just check out a few articles before the dinner then come to enjoy great food and conversation!*
Please RSVP to Paula at paula.brumbelow@phila.gov or (215-683-4604) by 4pm on Tues. 3/23/04.
We accept MasterCard, Visa, Discover, and checks payable to Philadelphia Cares, (100 S. Broad St. Suite 620, Phila. 19110).
Hope to see you there!
