FREE YOUTH MEDIATORS TRAINING
Good Shepherd Mediation Program is currently looking for youth ages 12 to 17 who are interested in helping friends and family settle their disputes peacefully. This FREE, three day training will take place in our Germantown office on August 21, 22, 23 (youth must attend all three days), from 9am to 5pm and will focus on communication/conflict resolution, problem solving, agreement writing and decision making skills. Youth who complete the training will be asked to work along side trained adult mediators; mediating youth related disputes referred from various schools and agencies in the community. Youth will receive a small stipend for volunteering to mediate cases at Good Shepherd. For more information or to register for this free workshop please contact DeVonne White at 215-843-5413.
