Free Virtual Workshops in Spanish for Parents and Caregivers – Sep 10,12,15,17,19,22

Back-to-school season is here, and Literacy Partners is excited to support Philadelphia families with free virtual workshops in Spanish for parents and caregivers of children ages 0–8—through our La Fuerza de Familias Latinas program!
These interactive workshops provide practical, culturally relevant strategies to build children’s literacy skills at home—along with tools grounded in STEM and the Science of Reading. Families will gain tips to support learning both at home and in the classroom. Plus, everyone who completes the 6-session series will receive a $25 gift card and 6 free children’s books.
Family Engagement Workshop / Taller de Participación Familiar; Topics Include:
- Early Literacy (Spanish) / Alfabetización temprana (español)
- STEM (Spanish) / STEM (español)
- Science of Reading (Spanish) / Ciencia de la Lectura (español)
Dates/Fechas: September 10, 12, 15, 17, 19, 22
Times/Tiempos: 10:00 am or 5:00 pm
Duration/Duración: 90 minutes per session (6 sessions) / 90 minutos por sesión (6 sesiones)
