    • Free Virtual Workshops for Spanish-speaking Families: Early Literacy, STEM & Science of Reading

    As the holiday season approaches, we’re excited to share a special opportunity for Spanish-speaking families in Philadelphia! This December, La Fuerza de Familias Latinas (LFFL) is offering free virtual workshops designed to help parents and caregivers support their children’s learning during this festive time of year.

    These workshops focus on early literacy, STEM, and the Science of Reading, providing families with fun, practical ways to make learning part of their holiday traditions.

    Workshop Highlights

    Leyendo en Casa Workshop – Lo Que Cuentan Las Estrellas

    • Date: December 4, 2024 / 4 de Diciembre
    • Time: 5 pm
    • Duration: 1 hour / 1 hora
    • Format: Virtual (online / en línea)
    • Incentives: Participants will receive a culturally relevant book / Los participantes recibirán un libro culturalmente relevante.

    Early Literacy Workshops

    • Dates: December 4, 6, 9, & 11 / 2, 4, 6, 9 y 11 de Diciembre
    • Times: 10 am or 5 pm
    • Duration: 90 minutes per session (5 Sessions / 5 Sesiones)
    • Format: Virtual (online / en línea)
    • Incentives: Participants will receive 5 culturally relevant books / Los participantes recibirán 5 libros culturalmente relevantes.

    STEM Workshops

    • Dates: December 4, 6, 9, & 11 / 2, 4, 6, 9 y 11 de Diciembre
