Free tax sites set for Montgomery County

Lansdale’s Community Housing Services will provide Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) for the second year.  VITA is designed to offer free tax preparation services for families and individuals making $40,000 or less.  Tax services are provided by certified volunteers, are prepared online, and refunds can be direct deposited into any account within 7-10 days after filing.

CHS tax preparation will take place Tuesday and Thursday 4-6:30pm and Saturday 1-3pm at CHS, 311 North Broad Street in Lansdale.  For more information, call 215-362-5250.

Tax preparation Services will also be offered by CADCOM of Norristown (610-277-6363) and Indian Valley Library in the Harleysville area (215 855-3002).
