Free Fundraising Workshop: Social Media & Nonprofits: Telling Your Story with Technology

Online communication channels for nonprofits have evolved quite a bit over the years, yet their purpose remains the same: to communicate compelling information to a variety of stakeholders and donors.

Although new technologies like Pinterest, Emodo, and Twitter can seem overwhelming, keeping in mind that the central purpose of these new messaging systems is the enhanced ability to tell a story will help many leaders stay enthusiastic about new technologies, not fearful of them.

Join Avrum D. Lapin and local nonprofit leaders as we discuss what social media platforms are best utilized for nonprofits, and delve into new techniques to help your nonprofit tell its story with technology!

From the initial steps you must take to understand your nonprofit communication “brand,” all the way through innovative new ideas for social media engagement, this workshop will focus on strategies that can aid all sizes and styles of nonprofit organizations in achieving social media success.
